Jelly Roll Scraps

Tracy Shephard

I decided to make the ‘Tissue Pouch’.
1. I used three pieces of fabric cut to specific size, and a piece for the inner. I chose three patterned pieces that clashed just for the effect. These pieces are stitched together and the seams pressed open.
2. Placing a piece of lace so that it will be visible on the right side of the fabric I placed the inner fabric on top and stitched these together.
3. Folding the fabric into thirds, so the opening is central,I stitched the the two ends and used ‘pinking shears’ to neaten them.
4. In 30 minutes i had made this lovely useful ‘Tissue Pouch’.
